Messi played the final 45 minutes in Barcelona’s draw to Espanyol this weekend but Messi’s impact was undeniable. Barcelona had 9 scoring opportunities in the 2nd half when Messi was playing and only 4 in the 1st half when Messi was not present.The 20 year old has scored 6 goals in 7 games for the Catalan giants in Champions League competition. He is lightning fast and could do some serious damage if he’s not contained.
