With Portugal now eliminated from Euro 2008, it’s only a matter time before Ronaldo reveals his plans. Either his desire to continue at Manchester United or his desire to depart to Real Madrid.
I’ve said it before and many of you agreed with me, I think Ronaldo will leave for Madrid and at this point should leave. And in selling Ronaldo, United could buy 2 or 3 great players.
He had a disappointing last match with Portugal as they fell to Germany. Scolari used him as a lone striker, and for some reason Ronaldo thought it excused him from any defensive duty.

Davide Petrucci of Roma has been dubbed the new Francesco Totti, and Manchester United has just signed the 16 year old. Reportedly the Serie A giants will only receive £200,000 for the attacking midfielder. United will also cover Petrucci’s trips to and from Italy to visit family and have even offered his father a job as a gardener at Old Trafford. (Read More…)

A great start to this summers most anticipated tournament. The first round of games were filled with goals. Ronaldo and Nani helped Portugal cruise to a 2-0 victory over Turkey. Edwin Van der Sar’s Oranje dominated and embarrassed the World Champions, Italy 3-0. While the most disappointing game of the tournament thus far had to be France v Romania, a 0-0 game with a very selfish performance from the French squad. Patrice Evra didn’t play and I doubt he will, considering that was the “easiest” of the 3 matches in the group stage.
