Silvestre to Roma? Not quite yet, but with the recent signing of 16 year old Petrucci for a mere £200,000, it was only a matter of time before Roma and United continued their recent relationship.

Mikael Silvestre has caught the eye of the Italian giants and Roma are believed to have made a move for the French defender. Although Bordeaux are also understood to be in the running for the 30-year-old, it would only be a loan where as a move to Rome would be permanent.

Silvestre should take the Roma deal. He has been reduced to a 2nd string defender at Old Trafford and deserves to be playing at the highest level. Roma will play in the Champions League next season and have a very strong team.
