Louis Saha has trained all summer long, attempting to regain fitness lost after a series of injuries which saw the French striker start only 5 Premier League matches last season.
Come on United, get rid of these charity cases: Neville, Giggs, Saha, and Silvestre have played their fare share of games and their best years are behind them! They are all 30+ and accident prone. Either ask them to step down or sell them off to the Bolton’s and Bordeaux’s. Manchester United are the Premier League and European Champions, and should be looking for the highest level talent in the world. Gary Neville can no longer keep up with the pace of the game. Giggs can’t make his memorable runs. While Saha and Silvestre have 2 or 3 good seasons left in them, Saha has suffered every injury known to man and Silvestre should not settle for 2nd string.
