Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has once again emerged as one of Europe’s hottest transfer targets. Last week the 24-year-old refused to sign a new contract with Ajax. Well, Ajax wasted no time in signing Huntelaar’s “replacement” for a record breaking deal. Ajax confirmed the signing of Miralem Sulejmani for £12.8million, smashing the previous record held by none other then Klaas Jan Huntelaar.
There is no doubt he will leave Ajax. I just hope Manchester United take Huntelaar into serious consideration. He was one for one in Euro 2008, when he scored a very “van Nistelrooy” like goal in the Holland vs. Romania game.
Real Madrid and Arsenal are also believed to be strongly linked with the Dutch international.
