Blackburn confirms they have signed Manchester United right-back Danny Simpson on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old made 8 appearances last season, but with Grandpa Neville back in good form the likely hood of Simpson seeing the pitch this upcoming season was very slim. So he opted for a move to Blackburn.
Simpson becomes Blackburn’s 3rd signing.
I think United should stop clinging to the dinosaurs… it’s time to let some of the youth in the organization begin to emerge. In the few games I’ve seen him play in, he seemed ready to step up and fill the shoes of Neville. He obviously won’t have the years of experience Gary does, but he will bring pace and enthusiasm for the game. There is a lot to be gained from a player trying to prove he belongs on the pitch.
