Dimitar Berbatov’s side fell to Middlesbrough in their season opener, as the very frustrated Bulgarian sat on the bench. “If I had been laughing when I was on the bench, people would say I was an idiot,” he said.

Obviously Berbatov has fallen out of favor with Tottenham. So like any heavily pursued footballer Berbatov revealed his “dreams”, sound familiar? Ronaldo?

“I’m now in Tottenham but no one can disagree with me wanting to follow my dream,” he told The Times.

His agent Emil Dantchev said: “We have two more weeks until the end of the transfer window and I think this will be the most important week. I read Alex Ferguson’s statement that he wants another striker and I hope that this striker is Dimitar Berbatov.”

Now its just a matter of time. Yup, any minute now….. Any minute now

the next surprise in the next 48 hours never came!! or was he talking about the poor display against newcastle? that was surely a surprise for me!! a week has passed, an no stirker yet, in my opinion we also need a winger, because park and fletcher are not united standard, and giggs is not getting any younger at 35, leaving us with only nani and ronaldo, silva would have been great, o well, hope to see a signing soon, i m still waiting to buy my new shirt this year with a new name hopefully
