In Wednesday’s World Cup qualifier England dismantled a strong Croatian side. Wayne Rooney provided Theo Walcott with 2 superb balls which Theo converted and also netted a goal himself.
The match was not expected to be so lopsided after Croatia showed extremely well in Euro 08. Croatia went undefeated in their group before being eliminated in the quarter-finals.
Will Rooney’s performance be enough to silence the Critics?
