Contrary to popular belief both Vidic and Rooney started the match. Also in the starting line up Tevez would join Rooney up top. Park, Carrick, Scholes, and Ronaldo would play across the middle in the more traditional 4-4-2. Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, and Brown in the back line with Van der Sar in goal.

With the summer transfer window rapidly approaching, transfer rumors are inevitable. Most recently, Honduras midfielder Wilson Palacios, and Ecuadorian born Luis Antonio Valencia, of Wigan.

A £250,000 ($500,000) bonus will be awarded to each Manchester United player if they win both the Premier League and the Champions League. The bonus was agreed on by the club’s owners last summer.
