Surprisingly John O’Shea has given United the advantage heading into next weeks 2nd leg semi-final at the Emirates.
It only took United 2 minutes to create a scoring opportunity, when Fletcher’s cross was met by Rooney and his header was denied.
By the 16th minute it was clear that United’s attack was being led by Tevez. As [...] |

Sunday night Ryan Giggs was named Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year for the first time in almost 20 years as a professional.
The 35-year-old picked up the young player’s award twice before, once in 1992 and again the following year in 1993.
”I’ve been fortunate to win a lot of trophies, I won the young [...] |

Tevez has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay at Old Trafford but United have not made any move to keep him, and I think Tevez is fed up. He is not getting the playing time he deserves. He would be a star striker on any other top English, Spanish, or Italian League team. And it [...] |

I was shocked to see the Manchester United line-up for the FA Cup semi-final against Everton.
Selections like these always bring up the debate on whether it shows a lack of respect to the opposition. Alex Ferguson did play a lot of the young lads, but I think if any manager has the right to make [...] |

Ronaldo scored a spectacular goal and sent United through to the semi-finals in what was probably the most boring game of the Champions League quarter-finals.
It only took Ronaldo 6 minutes to create the space necessary to unleash his rocket on goalkeeper, Helton. After a start like that, I began to brace myself for another mouth [...] |

It didn’t take long after the PFA Players’ Player of the Year nominees were announced for managers and players to criticize the shortlist. But what do you expect, United dominated the shortlist with five of the six contenders:
Edwin van der Sar, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs, and Cristiano Ronaldo are representing United, with Steven [...] |

After bursting on to the scene last weekend by scoring the late winner against Aston Villa, Macheda was given another chance on Saturday. Kiko didn’t disappoint, he netted another game winner against Sunderland to keep United on top of the table.
But is Macheda the real deal?
He turns 18 in August, and it will be interesting [...] |

It’s no secret and it doesn’t take a genius to know that United’s defense has been truly horrid lately. They have conceded 10 goals in their last four matches! Prior to the Liverpool thrashing, United had allowed 10 goals in 24 matches.
It didn’t take long for Porto to figure out that United had absolutely no [...] |

Federico Macheda, the name heard around the world, after the 17 year-old Italian netted a crucial goal in the closing minutes of United’s Sunday match against Aston Villa.
United were extremely lucky on Sunday to walk away with all three points. United’s defense was absolutely shocking. But I guess you cant expect much from a back [...] |
