Should United wear the Club World Champion Badge of Honor?

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it is the badge AC Milan wore after winning the club world cup in 2007 (Coincidentally FIFA didn’t introduce the badge until a European club won the trophy.)

After beating LDU on December 21st of 2008, United gained the sole right to wear the badge, at least until next December. What do you think, should United put it on their kit?

In reality it is a real shame that Manchester United have not displayed the FIFA Badge of Honour on their shirts since the Club World Cup Triumph last December. I went on to ask for an explanation to the club via the website midway through January, but I have not been given any reply as yet. In an email acknowledgement I was assured that the club does not rate the FIFA Club World Cup as a second rate tournament (in the same manner as the FIFA Confederations Cup is treated in comparison to the FIFA World Cup), but the lack of action taken in relation to the FIFA Badge of Honour shows otherwise. Also noteworthy is the fact that more than a month later, the trophy room web page is not yet updated with a picture of the FIFA Club World Cup and the year in which it was won (2008). For me the competition is receiving second rate treatment and that is outrageous.

I wish someone would start a petition to send to the FA or synchronize a mass hit on the Fa.com website to bring it down as a protest. As a Sports fan who supported the GB Athletes and the World Athletes in Beijing by being there. Manchester United won the right to wear the badge with pride and honour. Let’s have some pride in one of our nation’s finest clubs who with an international squad help put the “Great” back into GREAT Britain.

Man united should wear the club world cup badge of the side of the sleeves as it will look good and the lads will be pround of themselfs. MANCHESTER UNITED FOR LIFE……
