Rooney’s injury could not come at a worse time for United. Rooney will miss the most important four weeks of the season, starting with Chelsea on Saturday, the match that will surely determine the winner of the Premier League. The return leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich, and the Manchester derby on April 17th.

Can United pull through and get the results without their number one striker? I hope so, by this time next week we’ll have our answer.
