Can you believe it, Rooney is back in training for Manchester United and has recovered and is expected to be fit for the Premier League match against Fulham next Monday.

How much younger can they get. United confirmed that they have signed up 14 year old John Cofie from Burnley for an undisclosed fee. Apparently other clubs were also after the youngster. Both Liverpool and Chelsea were interested in John, but the young players decided to join old Trafford’s Red Devils.

United have issued a statement over the fitness of Rio Ferdinand after rumours earlier in the week that he may miss the game due to a groin strain.
The statement says: “Reports in Tuesday’s press claimed the Reds defender has an old injury that he aggravated and would miss the key Premier League clash.
