Ramon Calderon has absolutely no integrity and needs to shut the hell up. The Real Madrid president is full of shit! When speaking about the Cristiano Ronaldo situation, Ramon Calderon contradicts himself every time he opens his mouth. Don’t believe me, here is just a small timeline of his remarks.
June 24th - “We are very happy with the declaration of the player [that he wants to join Real]. But it does not depend on him, it depends on United,”
June 28th - “Madrid cannot do anything (to get Ronaldo) if Manchester do not want to sell their player.”
July 6th - “They (United) don’t want to sell so we can’t do anything.”
After acknowledging United had the final say, Calderon contradicts himself…
July 7th - “It depends on the player, on Ronaldo. Since I’ve known football it has been the case that the desires of the footballer are what decide matters.”
“If Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester, he’ll leave. If he wants to stay, he’ll stay.”
Wait, I thought it depended on Manchester United.
Just shut up already Calderon!
The only person more contradicting then Calderon, could quite possibly be Ronaldo himself.

I entirely agree. Ramon is such a bully, his re-election depends on CR7!! He is not doing it for Madrid but rather for himself.CR7 should stop holding us at random. Either way, I say we are not A SELLING CLUB.
i agree a 100% but and he was also came out and spoke to nadal that the deal for ronaldo was done and dusted what a big load of bull fifa should get of there arses and make a statement cause im sure now he has breched some rules
[...] For more United anger on the way Real have ‘conducted’ themselves over this readthis. Could not have said it better [...]
I’m normally of the feeling that if players want to move on then let them piss off somewhere else, but the whole way this has been handled makes me feel very strongly that they shouldn’t be able to get away with it and walk away happy with the best young player in the world (in my opinion).
As I have said in previous comments, if United had any balls at all they would hold firm to their statement “we are not selling”… follow that up with Ronaldo having a stint on the Reserves. Sure, it will devalue the player, but it may also help deflate Cristiano’s ego and help him become a better human being and employee (which he seems to be forgetting that he is). It will not devalue him completely, and it will send a message to all players in all leagues: You signed a contract, honor your commitment or there will be consequences. The move might cost United or it might not. If it does, you’ve still sent your message and you get less on the transfer for next year. But it might just get Ronny to get his head on straight and do what he is supposed to…
