Manchester United vs AC Milan
Written by Tony
March 10th, 2010
United started with a fairly strong line-up, the strongest they could anyway. With Carrick sent off in the first leg, Sir Alex went with Park in the middle, while Nani and Valencia would use their pace down the flanks. Bookmark This Post

Manchester United vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers
Written by Tony
March 8th, 2010
Although United never hit top gear, Paul Scholes’s 100th Premier League goal was enough to send United top of the table. It soon became evident how important Wayne Rooney, who is sure to win the Premier League Player of the Year, is to United. Rooney missed the match do to an injury picked up while on [...]

Manchester United vs. Portsmouth
Written by Coty
February 8th, 2010
Manchester United shot back to the top of the Premier League (albeit temporarily) without breaking a sweat as Portsmouth left Trafford on the bad end of a 5-0 shutdown. Porthmouth themselves helped put United out on top with “own-goals” by players: Anthony Vanden Borre and Marc Wilson, while a deflection off Richard Hughes assisted United’s third [...]

United v Arsenal Review
Written by Tony
September 1st, 2009
It doesn’t get much better than Manchester United vs Arsenal, arguably one of the biggest rivalries in the entire world and by far the most prestigious match to the new campaign.  Arsenal has gotten off to an exceptional start this year, dominating Celtic, Everton, and Portsmouth with goals galore and from unusual sources, such as [...]

Antonio Valencia inspires United win
Written by Tony
August 5th, 2009
Antonio Valencia enjoyed a superb home debut against his namesakes as Manchester United beat Valencia 2-0 at Old Trafford before a crowd of 71,000. United’s summer signing from Wigan set up both goals and left the field to a standing ovation late on after a dynamic display on the right side of midfield. After both sides wasted [...]

United defeat Boca Juniors in Audi Cup!
Written by Tony
July 29th, 2009
Antonio Valencia made an impressive start to his Manchester United career as he scored in a 2-1 win over Boca Juniors in the Audi Cup in Munich. The £16 million signing from Wigan skipped past two players before drilling a low shot into the net to make it 2-0 in the 42nd minute, and while Boca [...]

United in Driver’s Seat
Written by Tony
April 29th, 2009
Surprisingly John O’Shea has given United the advantage heading into next weeks 2nd leg semi-final at the Emirates. It only took United 2 minutes to create a scoring opportunity, when Fletcher’s cross was met by Rooney and his header was denied. By the 16th minute it was clear that United’s attack was being led by Tevez. As [...]

Sir Alex was right to play young lads!
Written by Tony
April 21st, 2009
I was shocked to see the Manchester United line-up for the FA Cup semi-final against Everton. Selections like these always bring up the debate on whether it shows a lack of respect to the opposition. Alex Ferguson did play a lot of the young lads, but I think if any manager has the right to make [...]

Ronaldo sends United through!
Written by Tony
April 17th, 2009
Ronaldo scored a spectacular goal and sent United through to the semi-finals in what was probably the most boring game of the Champions League quarter-finals. It only took Ronaldo 6 minutes to create the space necessary to unleash his rocket on goalkeeper, Helton. After a start like that, I began to brace myself for another mouth [...]
