Ronaldo’s penalty kick was all Manchester United needed to beat City. In the 34 minute, Critiano Ronaldo was taken down as he was weaving through the box. The Portugese striker made it look easy as he sank the PK.
The team looked tired and lacked pace and the crisp passing and runs we’re used to seeing.
With about 10 minutes to play, Ball, trying to force his way through two United defenders fell (well, he certainly wasn’t hit) in the box and was awared a penalty. But City got what they deserved when Van der Sar was able to get his leg up and deflect the PK.
