Many argue that Messi should have won the Ballon d’ Or. No way, remember Messi was out for 6 very important weeks last year, after tearing a thigh muscle during a Champions League match.

It’s simple, Messi’s Barcelona didn’t win the Champions League and Barca didn’t win La Liga.
Ronaldo scored 31 goals in the Premier league and scored 8 goals in the Champions League, becoming the top scorer in both competitions.
