Wes Brown filled the right-back position beautifully since March of 2007 when Gary Neville suffered an ankle injury against Bolton. But the 29-year-old has not given up hope on playing his more natural, central defensive position.

Manchester United vs. Middlesbrough
United had to do without Vidic, who was out with a knee injury.
Scholes and Carrick take the center mid positions. Ronaldo and Giggs take the wings. This was Giggs 750th appearance for United, just 9 shy of Sir Bobby Charltons record.
