I knew his move was inevitable, especially after the Champions League defeat, but not so soon.

“Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of 80 million pounds for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid,” the club said.

“At Cristiano’s request – who has again expressed his desire to leave – and after discussion with the player’s representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player.
Matters are expected to be concluded by June 30.”

“The club expects to reach an agreement with the player in coming days,” Real said in a statement.

I understand  it was time for him to leave. He won everything he could win in England.

Now its time to look ahead, who will United bring in to cover for Ronaldo, Ribery?
And what will happen with Tevez? Will he move to Man City?

I’m Tired of hearing about Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid! United need to sell him or shut him up. He keeps running his mouth about how wonderful it would be to play for Real, Blah Blah Blah. There are world class players out there that would kill to wear the Manchester United colors.

First, United need to do something about Ronaldo, like I said sell him or shut him up. Second, secure Tevez on a permanent deal. Next, sign a big player! Prospects are fine ,but United need to defend their titles next year ,and there isn’t a whole lot a 16 year old could do right away. Sir Alex has the money and unlike Tottenham or Manchester City, big players want to play at Old Trafford!

Earlier this week Chelsea’s Joe Cole voiced his opinion claiming “Messi showed in the semi-final that he is the top man.” I think Joe is just a little jealous.

But the heavy favorite to win the FIFA World Player of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo, admitted that not until he has won the Champions League does he believe he could be considered the best in the world. “I have been totally surprised by how many goals I have scored as I am not even a centre forward, But to be the best in the world I have to win titles like the Champions League and the Premier League.” he told the Daily Mail.
