Manchester boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, is going to ask the FA to set aside the last match that was added in attempt to get the central defender available to play against Everton on February 20.

The FA have the ability to add a 5th game to the ban if it chooses to do so. Let’s hope they don’t see this appeal as frivolous an try to teach Sir Alex a lesson by increasing the ban to its maximum.

The 25-year-old Angolan has only made on appearance for United in the Barclays Premier League.

Personally I think United should cut him loose. Manucho is 25-years-old and has not shown he has what it takes. Danny Welbeck is only 18-years-old and has proven to be a much more effective player.

Its true some players are late bloomers, but I don’t think Manucho will ever be good enough to play for Manchester United, by that I mean become a regular.

Maybe a team like Hull City is exactly where he belongs. We’ll see Saturday, as Hull take on Arsenal, if Manucho has what it takes.

It only took Ronaldo three minutes to open the score-line after collecting a pass at the edge of the box and striking a low left-footed strike that hit of the near post and spun in. An inch wider and the ball would not have gone in, perfect placement.

But Daniel Cousin equalized twenty minutes later from a brilliant free kick and put an end to those who anticipated an all out onslaught.
That was until Berbatov fed a ball toCarrick, who rifled a left footed shot to the far post, just six minutes later.
But it was the FIFPro Player of the Year that would give United the two goal advantage going into the second hal with a near post header from a corner supplied beautifully by Nani.

Vidic would make it 4-1 in the 57th minute after finding Rooney’s corner with a brilliant instep. But before anyone could count them out Hull’s Bernard Mendy would make it 4-2 after out-muscling Evra at the top of the eighteen, and as Van der Sar rushed out Mendy chipped the United keeper and the ball bounced in despite Vidic’s acrobatic save. And in the 82nd minute Geovanni would convert a penalty awarded to Mendy for being brought down in the box by Rio Ferdinand.

With stranger things happening all over the Premier League this season it was up to United to keep Hull from equalizing, and they did having only allowed two minutes of injury-time United got the three points and are now sitting in third place.

A very impressive game by Hull and a game any sports fan would appreciate, with plenty of goals and plenty of action. These are the games that I love.
