“The European Championship derails transfer activity. Nothing really happens when the championships are on.” “Obviously, now that is all over, people settle down. Managers are back at their clubs and you can get some dialogue now if they are interested, but I wouldn’t think (we would buy) any more than one player. We are looking at one or two things.”

One Player! Sir Alex, don’t be so naive! Chelsea just confirmed Deco! Arsenal confirmed Nasri! Even Man City look to have confirmed Jo and are on the hunt for Ronaldinho! (Read More…)

With all this talk about “Who the best player in the world is,” football supporters, analysts, and even professional players continue to debate. Earlier this week Chelsea’s Joe Cole voiced his opinion claiming “Messi showed in the semi-final that he is the top man.” I think Joe is just a little jealous. (Read More…)

“I’ve been expecting it,” Ferguson said. “I don’t think it’s about last Saturday, I think it’s about next Wednesday and maybe even next season.” This was in response to Avram Grant’s remarks claiming referees in the Premier League favor Manchester United. “In England there are very good referees, but there are some, a few that you can influence” Grant said. It’s no secret United have been searching for Gary Neville’s long-term replacement. United had been linked with Porto right back, Bosingwa, up until Chelsea sealed a £16.2million deal earlier this week. Having sealed Bosingwa, its only obvious Chelsea have dropped out of the race for Sevilla right-back Daniel Alves.
Which only leaves Manchester United and Barcelona in the running for the Brazilian.

It was August of last year that Chelsea was rejected by Sevilla not once, not twice, but three times to acquire Alves. Daniel Alves was furious Sevilla would not release him and had rejected Chelsea’s offers because Alves had stated he wanted to play for a “European Giant”

I think the very offensive right-back would be a wonderful addition to the Red Devils. He will be very expensive but he could be worth every penny. If United want a replacement for Gary Neville There is no one better ,at this time, then Daniel Alves.
