Lionel Messi is the first player mentioned because he is the most dangerous. After being sidelined for five weeks due to a thigh injury, Messi is expected to play Wednesday. Messi played the final 45 minutes in Barcelona’s draw to Espanyol this weekend but Messi’s impact was undeniable. Barcelona had 9 scoring opportunities in the 2nd half when Messi was playing and only 4 in the 1st half when Messi was not present.The 20 year old has scored 6 goals in 7 games for the Catalan giants in Champions League competition. He is lightning fast and could do some serious damage if he’s not contained.
Henry could miss 1st leg of Champions League Semi-final. Henry missed Mondays training due to illness. A fever has put the former Gunner in doubt for Wednesdays long anticipated Champions League clash between United and Barca. Only time will tell whether Henry will be fit for the 1st leg, set to take place at the Nou Camp.
